Goodbye Europe, Hello America

Fin de siècle

Fin de siècle

Bonjours mes cheries! This post comes to you from Brussels Belgium, a place I have called home for the past year. I set out for Europe with my husband and son end of November 2015.

Promenade

Initially I was going to stay for 3 months and tour Europe for a while, but somehow that turned into the rest of the year as the hubby and son travelled back to resume work and school respectively.

In Paris

In Paris

I toured London, Belfast, Dublin, Brussels, Paris, etc, and soon enough, things worked out that I started flying for work, which allowed me to tour even more cities within Europe and beyond.

That je-ne-sais-quoi feeling

That je-ne-sais-quoi feeling

Tomorrow, I will be flying back to my boys, the people that love me most unconditionally in the entire world. It’s been a blessing to me that God saw it fit that they be my family, because together, we have crafted a life where we all allow the other to soar as high as we want.

Outside the Café Kitsune

Outside the Café Kitsune

Giving and getting permission to and from those that matter to us most is imperative if we are going to expand our dreams and step off the ledge into the unknown. Especially since these are the people that will catch you should you fall. They are the ones that will pick you up and dust you off should you not be able to do so for yourself. Having that in the men in my life is invaluable.

Merci

Merci

So tomorrow I go back to honour them, to thank them, to hold and hug them, to listen to them, to love them, and just to be with them.

I am grateful that you all have walked this journey with me, indeed with my boys too. I will continue to deliver content and hopefully you continue with me on this journey even as I continue to fashion and tailor my voice to deliver meaningful dialogue. I leave you with another look from my Paris trip –I hope you enjoy them.

So long!

So long!

For now it’s goodbye from Europe, and soon a hello from America. I’ll see you from across the pond, stay safe!

GreyDynasty, your journey has been such an inspiration.
Today as I this to you, I start my journey to the unknown, walking away from a job I have held for almost 10 years. I am scared, the fear wishpers in my ear, but its just a wisher. For some unknown reason which is weird there is also excitement, and feel unclouded. So reading and listening to your journey since I glanced upon your post on instagram about a year ago. I know am where you were and I am scared as any one would taking a chance in the unknown. And I leave it to the universe and God along with my drive to take me where I am suppose to be, back to Me. So thank you!

Oh my goodness Tashia, you are one brave girl. Yes, last year this time that was me. I had no real plan, I just let things unfold. I ended up in Europe and a month become a year and a job… I hear you, I feel you, I’m walking with you. Together we’ll get there. Atta girl!
