Visiting the Eiffel Towers

Colours of the France flag

Tipping my eye-ware off to the France flag

Paris, a main player in the fashion industry, is an hour’s train ride from Brussels. So what better place is there to have a fashion shoot; a Parisian photo shoot at that…

La Joie de vivre!

La Joie de vivre!

I planned this shoot around the colours I have become so fond of; Red, blue and white. These are the colours of the American flag, the British flag, the France flag, and probably many more that I’ll soon discover. This also happen to be the colour combination of uniforms for a majority of airlines, including the one I flew for. Needless to say, I have a soft spot for any one of these colour combinations.

That je-ne-sais-quoi feeling...

Shaking a leg ; )

A look at the psychology of colours shows that red conveys love, excitement, power and lust. White points to purity, happiness and sincerity. Blue denotes masculinity, strength, and competence, all while conveying a sensory emotion of relaxation. It’s no wonder this is everyone’s favourite colour for corporate branding (think Facebook, LinkedIn, twitter, etc.)

Effervescent living

Effervescent living

Enjoy this look for now. I’ll post a second look once I get a moment to catch my breath; I’ve been busy packing up my European life trading it in for the American one during this holiday period. You’ll next hear from me from across the pond when I’m back with my family.

A bientôt!

A bientôt!

Till then, thanks for checking in. Feel free to leave me a comment, won’t you?

All the best, Helena Grey
