Faith, Fashion & Flying: The Journey Continues

Hiya! Can you believe it? We’re down to the final three months of 2024, and I thought this would be the perfect time to hop on here and share some thoughts—especially since it’s been a while. A few years, to be exact! Life has changed a lot since I last posted, and with those changes, this blog has had a little makeover too. I’ve done a lot of tidying up around here, and it’s still evolving, just like I am. But some things remain beautifully consistent—my love for faith, fashion, and flying, and in that order.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned over these years is that true beauty starts from the inside out. It’s not just about what we put on our bodies; it’s about the transformation of our character, our hearts, and our souls. When our inner world is in harmony, it naturally shines through to the outside. And that’s what I’m most passionate about sharing here. On these pages, we’ll talk a lot about cultivating that inner beauty, as well as how we choose to present ourselves to the world.

I’ve been in the world of fashion for a few decades now, and while I still love the thrill of a perfect outfit, I find myself even more inspired by the idea that beauty is a reflection of our inner selves. How we carry ourselves, how we dress, how we speak, and how we think—all of it is a reflection of what’s going on within us. It’s not about putting a band-aid on our insecurities or hiding behind a mask. You know, it’s like that old saying—”lipstick on a pig”—it doesn’t work. True beauty will always be an inside job first. When we let God nurture and cultivate kindness, confidence, and love on the inside, the outside becomes a natural extension of that work.

So, as I return to this space, let’s journey together. Let’s talk about the power of faith, the art of fashion, and even take to the skies now and then (because, yes, I still love flying!). But most importantly, let’s embrace the beauty that starts from within. Here’s to reconnecting, growing, and shining—inside and out! Stay beautiful, my friends – Esmè
